Robotic Empire is thrilled to present the long, long awaited vinyl pressing of CAVE IN’s mid-period work The Sacrifice Poles, originally released on CD in 2001 and out of print ever since. Conceived between 1998 and 2000 largely during writing blocks for their Jupiter album, The Sacrifice Poles consists entirely of 4-track experimentations and choice instrumental jams. Aside from “Brain Candle Waltz,” all songs are exclusive to this release.

Expertly remastered in 2014 by James Plotkin specifically for the vinyl release, The Sacrifice Poles is warmer than ever. This edition is limited to 500 copies (300 on opaque blue, 200 on black vinyl) and comes housed in a five-color silk-screened jacket meticulously re-creating Aaron Turner’s original artwork and layout. A high-quality digital download is included.
