So you're want to make an order with us, that's awesome. If you've never done this before, we'll try to make it as easy for you as possible.

Ordering Online:
Right now, our online mailorder system is all going through the free service PayPal. If you don't already have an account with them, that's fine, you should still be able to pay with your Credit Card without signing up if you don't want to. PayPal is very secure and overall this is the fastest way for you to get your order in (and thus, quickly filled). Basically you just add whatever item(s) you want to the PayPal shopping cart, proceed to "check out" and PayPal will prompt you for your payment info. PayPal then securely sends the money to us over the internet, we process your order and once we ship it, we will write you note letting you know your package is on the way! This is usually done every couple of days, so PayPal ordering is the fastest way to get your music/merchandise fix.

Here's How We Do Things:
Despite our somewhat ominous name, Robotic Empire is a family-run business that prides ourselves on the delivery of music and clothing to the fans who will appreciate it the most. That being said, this is a relatively small business, and we do things on our own terms. Those terms being: we collect and process orders all week... but typically pack and ship over a 3 day period. That means that while your order might not ship out within 24-48 hours, we will do our best to ship it to you as quickly as possible.

Status:
We are currently packing all received orders early in the day EST on Wednesdays and depending on the volume, stamping and shipping either on Fridays and/or Mondays. We ship everything domestic via the USPS "media mail" method by default, which typically takes 7-10 business days to arrive once we ship the package out (depending on how far you are from Richmond, Virginia). International packages ship out via First Class Air Mail rate and also typically take 7-10 business days to arrive once shipped.

Supplies:
We ship our orders using brand new supplies: sturdy cardboard mailers for vinyl, and padded bubble mailers for CDs. We ship 99% of our large-format vinyl outside of the paper jacket/cover to prevent the record from breaking through this sleeve during shipment... but if you do NOT want us to ship this way please be sure to specify in the "notes" section when you send your payment.

International Ordering:
The USPS has raised their rates considerably and we now require all international orderers to email us prior to purchasing from Robotic Empire. Please email a list of everything you want to order (and the country you live in) to the following email address wait for a reply: mailorder [at] roboticempire [dot] com with the subject "INTERNATIONAL ORDER" (obviously, please replace the [at] with @ and the [dot] with . ) We will get back to you as soon as we can, thank you!

Mail Ordering:
If you're old-timey and prefer envelopes and stamps over computers, we're still totally down to get you the goods. All you need to do is print out this order form, write in what you're ordering (plus your address and all that jazz) and mail it to the PO Box address (listed above), with payment. If you don't have a printer or the form mysteriously doesn't work for you, just write it all out on a piece of paper. We don't accept checks because waiting for them to clear is a pain in the ass, so either send well-hidden US cash or a money order payable to "Robotic Empire". We cannot guarnatee the safe arrival of cash so if you send it, conceal it well! Because we do a lot of mailorder, we require all mail orders to include alternatives in case the item(s) you order sell out. Also because a lot of stuff we carry can randomly sell super fast or super slow, we cannot guarantee we'll have your items by the time your order arrives... so PLEASE list alternatives. If you ignore this, and we happen to run out of the awesome item that you want, we're going to use our best judgment to send you a replacement... but you might not want that item, or could already have it... so make it easy on both of us and just list some alternatives. Also, sorry but we do not hold or set-aside items.

GUARANTEED Delivery - Domestic (USA) Ordering Only:
So we've now shipped over 10,000 packages out of this little operation in Richmond and less than 1% of these have simply "not shown up" to their destination. We pride ourselves on this strong track record, but that still doesn't mean the US Postal System doesn't mess up from time to time. Because of this, we CANNOT GUARANTEE the 100% safe arrival of your US-based order unless you add the $0.75 Delivery Confirmation to your order. We literally make no money off of this, and it is the only way we can fully GUARANTEE the safe arrival of your order. We don't officially require this, as 99% of the time the package will arrive safe and sound, but if you really need that extra security please just add the Delivery Confirmation to your order. Non-USA folks, this does not apply to you.

General Info / Contacting Us:
OK all that being said, we're totally thrilled that you're taking the time, effort and money to order from us and will do our absolute best to get you your goods in a timely manner... but one thing to please keep in mind. This label is run out of a small house in Richmond, VA... and while we are pretty much doing this constantly, it's not a big operation with a lot of employees or anything and we do get backed up from time to time.

*** If you don't get your confirmation email from us within a couple days of ordering , please don't freak out... sometimes we just get a bit backed up and you should hear from us soon. Also before writing us, please make sure you've checked the same email account that you ordered under. If an email from us is not there and something still seems abnormally delayed, then go ahead and contact us. IF you email us, please be sure to let us know the email address you ordered under along with the name you ordered under. These are the ways we can search for your order. But please do refrain from emailing us unless there's definitely a problem, as it just kinda slows us down. Thanks! ***

Other Things Of Note:
All prices are postage paid (by us) based on your location, and are listed on each individual record's page. That means there's no extra shipping fees, no extra PayPal fees, no sales tax... nothing. That's the flat cost.

We ship all US orders through "media mail". This usually takes 7-10 days to arrive at your location from the day we ship it, but it may arrive a bit sooner, or it may arrive a bit later. The US postal service isn't exactly a well-oiled machine, so please be patient.

All international orders are shipped by the method you pay for. You must email us with a list of what you want to order and wait for our reply before purchase, sorry it has to be this way but the new webstore will be much better/easier once it is launched. Our email address is above.
