The Red Chord are a five piece hardcore/metal band from Revere,
Massachusetts. The band was originally formed by vocalist Guy,
and guitarist Kevin under the name of Ictus, and after several
line up changes as well as a few members switching instruments,
they debuted as The Red Chord in August of 2000 with Blood Has
Been Shed and Undying in Taunton, Massachusetts. After a few
more lineup changes, they eventually picked up Second Guitarist
Gunface and then Bassist Adam from Boston's Beyond The Sixth
Seal. After the additions of Adam and Gunface, they took on
the identity of The Red Chord. In the Summer of 2001, the band
did a brief East Coast tour by themselves solely on a 3 song
Demo CDR. In early December 2001 the band hit New Alliance Studios
in Boston with Rock N' Roll God, Andrew Schneider to record
their Debut full-length. Then in March of 2002 the band released
that record under the title of 'Fused Together In Revolving
Doors' for Robotic Empire, which brings us right up to where
we are now. |
